Nothing. Haha. Well, the weather and air quality is making me sick. Or like Adam's saying, "It's the 'Weather and Air Quality ;).'" Whatever Adam :P. Next week I've got a lot of hours at work :D and I still got Saturday off! Now I can watch Avatar finale with Lisa with no worries :D

Yesterday I got to hang out with Lisa :D. We ate at Janee<3! Lynn's of course, yummmm. Dessert at Denny's, then drinks at Wendy's. We actually went to Wal-Mart too O_O. It was necessary. Lisa found something that will work for her hat! :D

At Youth I was chosen to do one of those contest games up front. The game was to see who could chug a can of Pepsi and a bottle of water the fastest. Well, I did it... I got it all down and got 3rd place :D. Buuuut, right after I kind of threw it all back up. It probably didn't help I wasn't feeling well before *stupid air*, and I had Jamba Juice XD. Too much liquid. I find it quite funny. I just feel bad for the people who had to see that :P.

Man, we were busy at work today. It was like non-stop O_O. I think we handled it good though :D

Yesterday I had a day off, so Lisa and I went to Visalia! We ate at Strings <3! Beautiful food. Then we went to JoAnne's and found awesome fabric for Lisa's costume for ComicCon. After that we went to the mall and did the usual browsing and crazy comment making that make people look at us weird XDD. WEEEEE!!! Good times. While we were in Claire's I got my top-right ear pierced :D. Finally. I was supposed to do it for my 21st birthday XD. It didn't hurt all that much. It just stung for a couple minutes after, but like Lisa said it was probably numb from the shock :P. I like it though :D. We ate at Sonic too! yummmmmmm. When we got home we watched YouTube videos and talked and such. Very fun day!

Tomorrow I work only 4 hours in the morning so I will be able to go to Michelle and Stacie's graduation party! Yay!

I cleaned my room!! Really there wasn't that much trash. Mostly boxes and stuff I had to file away. So now my desk is mostly organized, and I need to vacuum & dust, but that's about it.

It's raining! Yes, I know you did a similar post Lisa :P. Ha ha. I'm just happy it's raining.

Lisa pointed out that I didn't say much about Indiana Jones in my last post. She's right, so instead of editing, I'll put it here :P. I liked the fact they brought back the original girl! She was hilarious. I love the humor in these movies :D. The villain girl was creepy (I did not know that was Cate Blanchett!), and the only part that made me squeamish was the ants. It was a good Indiana Jones movie. Lucas & Spielberg teeming up is always a good thing :D.

4 years ago today. It seems like longer.

So yesterday Lisa and I went to Bakersfield to see Missy's art show! We left around 5? after I got off work. We ate at In'N'Out! Woohooo!! Then we went to the art show which was relatively easy to find, b/c we asked for directions :P. It was pretty neat. We looked at all the art, which some were pretty awesome, and some were pretty disturbing O_o. Missy's art was among my favorite for sure! I love the painting of the soldier's face up close.

After the art show, when we headed back to the car, we found out that I hadn't locked the car. Yeah, lucky nothing was stolen. I think I was too worried about getting a ticket for not having a parking permit :P. So anyways, we drove around for a while looking for a Dairy Queen but couldn't find one so we went to Baskin Robbins. Yummmmmm, it was good. Then we got 69 cent cokes at McDonald's before heading back home. Weeee! So on the way home, we kind of got lost. We were driving on the 99 and there was a sign that said Tulare on it so I thought we had gone too far. So we get off the 99 and drive around in the country for a while trying to find a road that's familiar. I thought we were somewhere in between Visalia and Tulare but really we were in between Bakersfield and Porterville XD. We finally found the 65 and a sign that said Porterville was 22 miles away XDD. I was waaayyy off. Luckily, Lisa and I were too high on sugar to care very much :P. There were some hilarious quotes from all of this. Correct me if I'm wrong Lisa!

"Avenue 8, I ate a grape." I was worried my tire was going to blow and not knowing where we were to tell the tow truck, so we were trying to remember the road numbers we were on, and Lisa came up with that. There were grapes on the side of the road XD.

Oh! and on one road we were on, there was this car coming towards us *this is at night,* and all of a sudden the headlights disappear. It was creepy looking, and there was no sign of the car when we drove passed the place. After that we were all jumpy for a bit XDD.

We got home around 10.

Today I opened at Henderson. 4:30-9am. That's a pretty chill shift. You kind of leave before any of the real work begins :P At least on weekends. When I got home I watched season 4 episode 1 of LOST online with Adam! Took a quick nap, then went to see Indiana Jones 4 with Adam. There were a lot of people there from church! Mr. McMaster, Kyle, Kory, Katie, Mr. Eggman, Jesse, Tim and Janice Hurt, Kenny, and TJ. We all sat together, Weeee! I liked the movie :). Adam and I ate lunch at El Tap, and then I took a nap <3! I was tired. Now, I'm talking to Lisa on the IM :D.

Today was not a fun day at work. Well, it started out that way. It was very crazy, and it shouldn't have been, only people don't know how to double bar. Blah, it mellowed out in the afternoon and things ran much smoother. I think I'd rate it in the top 5 of the "Worst Days At Starbucks" category. I'm glad to be home.

I got to go to prison again this year :D. Weekend of Champions was May 1-3. Marc, Jonathan Cotta, and I were "Team Unger." Friday we went to Chowchilla women's prison, and Saturday Marc and I went to Fresno Juvi *Jonathan went to another prison*, and then we met back up at Elkorn Boot Camp. It was awesome.

Charles is home! :D Praise God he came home safe! He came back last Saturday?

The Porterville Fair is this week, so we'll be pretty busy at work. Pray that everything goes smoothly, and we all manage our tasks efficiently! I think the fair starts on Thursday.

Lisa and I are eating at Janee Lynn's on Thursday after work. Yummmmmmm...

Michelle, Sam, and Sarah are graduating on Friday!!! WEEEEE!!! Lisa and I are going to go, and Katie's coming down this weekend too. So somewhere in there we're watching Narnia which comes out this Friday too!!!

I'm helping Michelle with registration for VBS this year. That should be fun. VBS is June 16-20 I believe.

Lisa and I are going to San Diego Comic Con!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm ecstatic! Avatar panel here we come!!! :D We registered yesterday *while scaring ourselves half to death thinking we lost important info.* It's July 23-27th. We're going to drive down on Wednesday and stay at my sister's in San Diego, because she said we could :D. Karen's wanting to go too, so that's awesome.

Right now I'm talking to Lisa on YIM. We're discussing our AE to the AU :P It is actually quite interesting. We've got our own action figure: "Emo Pining in the Pub Jake." Haha.

Sometime within the next two weeks I'm going to have to do an interview. Two other ladies and I at Starbucks are being considered for a promotion to Shift Supervisor sometime this summer. We have to interview with our manager and with the District Manager *separately.* O_O That's got me nervous.

Yay! I'm updating!
Anyways... So lately I've been working . I work @ Subway in the morning/afternoon and @ Starbucks in the afternoon/evening. I quit my job @ Medical Office Services like around July 18th(?). Yeah, and I started Subway August 1st. Starbucks I started August 21st. I like my new jobs . Only bad part is I miss a lot of karate, because I only get to go if Starbucks gives me one of the nights off which doesn't happen very often. I get to go this Thursday though :D!

I'm not taking any classes this semester, because I decided to work my butt off & earn money to pay off (most) my student loans from APU before I get into debt from Moody :P hehehe. So in the spring I'm going to take online classes from Moody! It's kind of weird not having any school, but it's not bad.

Soooo, recently I helped out @ the Relay-4-Life this past weekend. It was awesome fun (as always). Your youth group counted the laps again :D. It was the first year that I stayed up the whole night! Thanks to the help of the 4 shots I had in my drink from Starbucks :D. I helped serve lunch (I had the pretzels!). We called them "salty bread hearts." And Adam was next to me serving the carrots and the product brand was called "Bunny Love," so he was asking people if they wanted some "bunny love." Hahaha. Then Kory was next to Adam serving the cole slaw which we called "salad like substance." We had fun. Yes we did :D. Then I counted laps from 4am->6am.

I had my first final today for my Intro to Info Systems class. I think it went pretty well. I have 3 more finals: 2 on Wednesday (Computer Graphics and Cultural Geography), and 1 on Thursday (Multicultural Counseling). I think/hope I will be OK in all my classes.
Then I graduate on Friday @ 7:30pm!! Finally. So that's what's going on in my school life.

As most of you probably know by now, my pastor, Rudy Martinez, has lymphoma. It was announced to our congregation yesterday. I would just like to ask everyone to pray for him and his family. I believe he had a test done today to determine what stage the cancer is in, and I hear the test is very painful.
I know God has a purpose for this, and "that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to {His} purpose." Rom 8.28 After Rudy talked about it and learning a little bit more about lymphoma, a lot of the fear has gone away. I read that there's like an 85% success rate with the modern treatments available. Still, please pray as often as you think about it! It's going to be hard.
